Rami Kawas currently serves as the Executive Director and Instructor at Oaktree Institute. For over 10 years, Rami has had a passion for learning and teaching personal development and leadership programs in the Muslim community. He has served in different leadership capacities for various nonprofit organizations. He has extensive experience in organizing and delivering educational and training programs as well as a long track record in leading various departments, events, projects and programs that concentrate on development and leadership.
He is a graduate of Qalam Islamic Seminary class of 2016 and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Psychology from Harvard University.
He has held leadership roles as the Youth Director at the MAS Youth Center in Brooklyn and the MAS Islamic Center of Dallas, the Director of Training and Development for MAS Dallas and MSA President of St. Johns University. He is happily married with two children and resides in the Dallas area.
